Volume 1 - The Journey
In this, the first book, we are taken on a journey.
The journey to become a true follower of Jesus as captured metaphorically within the 2 Samuel 6. Along the way learning to walk the narrow way of dying to self, and crucially, how to carry the presence of the Lord into our daily realities.
This will require us to daily carry our cross and learning the importance of walking in obedience, wisdom annd love before the Lord.
Volume 2 - The Secret Life
In this, the second book in the series, we learn about the importance of the three secret disciplines that taught by Jesus in the sermon on the mount. Crucially for the follower of Jesus we discover afresh the importance of spiritual closet and to spend time here with Father God.
We will learn that we can understand this as our individual 'sukkah', that will provide us with spiritual food for the journey, as well as shelter from the storms and direction for our lives in Christ.
Volume 3 - The Tabernacle
In this, the third book in the series, we will discover what life inside the corporate 'sukkah', the Tabernacle of David, might be.
A place to gather with others who are on the same journey, A place to be fed and to feed those we love in Christ. To be filled with spiritual sustenance for the ongoing journey. A place both to serve and be served. A place within which a quality of selfless love might be demonstrated to a world dying to see this. And a place for the ekklesia to come into its end time intercessory ministry for our brothers and sisters. Indeed, who are being caught up in the great falling away that we afre already witnessing today.
Volume 4 - N.T. Reflections
In this, the fourth book in the series, we are looking to find evidence of the spiritual themes and threads that we have been exploring so far within the book of the Acts of the Apostles and more broadly with the epistles of the New Testament.
Before, bringing things to an exhortative conclusion, challenging each of us to prayerfully consider the call to become a true follower of Jesus. Indeed, to take our place within restored Tabernacle of David, which is the bride of Christ.
Taking the Form of a Servant
This is the final book in the series. In this study we have turned our attention to the prevailing leadership model that persists within the church today and have discovered that this area of church life is in serious need of re-evaluating.
We believe there is a need to return to the scriptural model of a servant hearted leadership who are functioning under the headship of Christ. We would also want to suggest that as we are able to move toward the model of body life described within the rest of the series of books, the restored Tabernacle of David, then this scriptural leadership paradigm would once again find its true and applicable context.
